The dean’s office is the place where:
- pick up your student ID card or extend its validity,
- You will receive a certificate of student status and a study card,
- You will arrange all matters related to the course of study,
- receive a diploma of graduation.

Dean’s duty for students:
Scope of competences
- Removal from the list of students,
- Revocation of the deletion decision,
- Resumption of studies, including for the purpose of taking the diploma exam,
- Transfer: from one course to another, full-time or part-time, to another university,
- Short-term and long-term leave,
- Elective subjects, specialties, modules and study paths: setting an enrollment deadline, establishing additional criteria to determine the order of enrollment, decision to launch,
- Approval of exam dates,
- Setting a deadline for promoters to submit thesis topics,
- To determine the form and deadline for submission of the thesis,
- secrecy of the thesis,
- Resolving disputes over theses and the use of the anti-plagiarism system,
- Requesting the awarding of a diploma in the form of a letter from the Rector,
- Requesting the Rector to establish an occupational group,
- Requesting the Rector to punish students,
- Collaboration with the Dean The Education Committee on matters of education quality assurance and faculty accreditation,
- Cooperation with the student government and student organizations,
- Handling student complaints and requests.

Scope of competences
- Extension of the session (taking credits and examinations on a date other than the established one),
- conditional permission to continue studies in the next semester and set a deadline for passing courses,
- Repetition of the semester and designation of program differences,
- Board exam and board credit,
- Recognition of previously obtained grades and credits,
- individual study organization,
- individual study program,
- Implementation of classes in foreign universities (including under the Erasmus program),
- Determination of program differences (and semester) – in the case of renewal for study, transfer and long-term leave,
- transfer between specialties, pathways and modules of study within the same field of study,
- Change of administrative group within the specialty, pathway and module of study,
- enrollment in a subject, specialty, pathway or module of study after the established enrollment deadline,
- cancellation of enrollment in the subject,
- The change or establishment of a promoter,
- Implementation of the thesis in a team,
- The possibility of preparing a thesis in English for Polish-language majors,
- Changing the subject of the thesis,
- Appointment of the thesis reviewer and the date and chairman of the thesis exam committee,
- Entering a failing grade in case of non-attendance,
- The decision that there is no right to corrective credit due to absence from classes,
- determination of non-participation in compulsory classes on the basis of notification of the student’s absence by the instructor,
- Determination of lack of progress in learning,
- call for explanations by the student after the initiation of the deletion proceedings,
- Postponement of the date of study fees, payment in installments
- Handling student complaints and requests (including the timing of the release of the results of test papers and other issues of dispute with instructors).
