The Scientific Circle of the Speakers’ Club is a circle dedicated to deepening knowledge and soft skills and the art of substantive discussion. Our Circle organizes:

Our goal in the Aliquanta Student Spatial Management Research Circle is to expand knowledge, develop the interests and skills of female and male students. We try to introduce them to topics related to various fields, such as:
- real estate management,
- space development,
- regional and national policies,
- Innovative approaches to design at the micro (e.g., elements of landscape architecture) and macro scale (e.g., urban planning issues of cities),
- challenges facing urban policy, etc.
We do this by engaging in work, meetings and discussions where we share ideas. We participate directly and indirectly in the scientific life of the University, conducting or taking part in scientific research under the auspices of KGPiAS and the University.
One of the characteristic activities of the members of the Circle is the annual organization of the National Scientific Conference “CITY – contemporary problems in the management of urbanized space”. We have been organizing the conference for 10 years.

Objectives of the Circle:
- we present the topic of project management in a clear, understandable way
- We want to teach Circle members the importance and role of projects in management,
- We want Circle members to understand the principles of managing multiple projects,

- We want to arouse interest in scientific, research, creative and self-education work,
- We offer education beyond the core curriculum in project management,

Members of the Circle can apply for IPMA – STUDENT certification. This is an official acknowledgment of knowledge in project management, recognized by employers as proof of skills in the field.

The SAPer Study Circle is a group of enthusiasts who want to learn about SAP solutions and the specifics of implementation projects. As part of the weekly meetings conducted, participants will learn about the German company SAP’s solutions in the field:
- logistics,
- Finance and Controlling,
- programming in the unique ABAP language.
Circle members will learn the specifics of working in SAP as an end user. They will learn about the implementation of implementation projects and the characteristics of the work of an SAP consultant. In addition, they are learning programming in the ABAP language.
The Circle also participates in scientific conferences on SAP topics, prepares scientific articles and carries out research projects using SAP capabilities.
Go Global Scientific Club

The Go Global study circle brings together students who wish to expand their knowledge and competence in international relations, international business, and intercultural communication. The main activity of the Circle is the international environment and the implementation of projects with foreign universities. Members of the Circle also organize training courses, workshops, conferences and seminars on various aspects of international business, presentations of companies and institutions.

We want to encourage entrepreneurship among students – we organize meetings with business practitioners. We focus on networking with business people who are willing to share practical experience with students.
The pillars of our business:
- Speeches: our main way to establish communication between entrepreneurs and WUEB students.
- Workshops: speakers together with us organize study visits to enterprises, show the practical aspect of their business. They acted with us: Rafał Brzoska (InPost), Marcin Iwiński (CD Projekt), Herbert Wirth (KGHM Poland).
- In addition, we report on the current business situation in Poland and around the world.

Our goal at SKN is to help students grow and achieve, especially those interested in electronic games. We want:
- expanded their knowledge of competitive gaming,
- have studied human behavior,
- created business models in E-Sports,
- established start-ups in this field and analyzed the related statistics.
In addition, we conduct scientific research on E-sports and human behavior in electronic games.

The Quality Management Scientific Circle “Qualiteam” deals with the subject of quality, both in a scientific and popularizing context. We organize training courses and give occasional papers.
Quality research is interdisciplinary, which means we cover different areas. We try to look at shaping product quality from different perspectives – we combine technological, organizational, managerial and economic aspects.
Our main focus is on creating conditions conducive to improving the quality of tested products. We distinguish two important things: the role of people and a diverse approach to improving product quality.

The Prakseology Study Circle is a community of creative and ambitious students who are focused on increasing efficiency and popularizing the idea of efficiency in business and private life. Praxeology means the theory of efficient action.
We try to see what the results of their work look like, but during the creation (that is, the effect of the work, but without the effect yet). We are interested in issues of business management, market analytics, the work of the manager or the general structure of the operation of the business in a complex business system.
Czym się zajmujemy?

- We act educationally: we hold classes/lectures to share our knowledge.
We plan to publish student research notebooks, as well as presentations and lectures on social networks.
Chemists’ Scientific Circle

The Scientific Circle of Chemists has been active at the Department of Bioorganic Chemistry since 2009. It helps students to develop their scientific interests in the field of chemistry and related sciences in the broadest sense.
He places special emphasis on the experimental and practical importance of chemistry. It allows you to touch and feel chemistry to a much greater extent than you can in standard chemistry classes.
The purpose of the Chemists’ Scientific Circle is:
- Conducting research and scientific projects by students (theses, speeches at conferences, posters, publications),
- Popularization of science (demonstrations as part of the Lower Silesian Science Festival, among others),
- Cooperation with other scientific circles,
- Organizing scientific excursions (scientific institutions and chemical companies).

Our goal is to develop research interests that address safety assurance systems, especially in the context of food and human nutrition, and food market organization.
The circle’s activities include training and study tours, educational and pro-social activities. In addition, members of the circle have the opportunity to participate in scientific conferences at the national level.
The circle brings together mainly students of the Faculty of Production Engineering at the University of Economics in Wroclaw, but we welcome anyone from UEW who is interested!
BioFood Scientific Club

The BioFood Student Scientific Circle primarily brings together Students from the IP Department, but invites Students from other faculties of UEW interested in food issues. The supervisor of the BioFood SKN is PhD. Eng. Monika Werenska, who works in the Department of Food Technology and Nutrition.
To date, we at SKN BioFood have focused on laboratory research using unusual sources of natural antioxidants added to raw meat. Our work has resulted in written engineering papers and a scientific publication.
In 2023, SKN BioFood’s activities will be expanded to include laboratory analysis to improve the quality of meat products – especially marinated meat. In addition, students affiliated with the BioFood SKN analyze issues related to the use of drug supplements.

The Circle mainly addresses issues of inequality, polarization, stratification, poverty and social welfare, but also other topics – according to the interests of its members (excluding “business” and “financial” topics).
Activities in the Circle are designed for young people who want to develop themselves academically – either only as part of their studies or with a view to a further career (e.g., a doctorate).
People who are not afraid to transform an equation or use a statistical model are welcome to join the Circle. Members of the Circle are prepared to speak at scientific conferences and write scientific publications (in cooperation with or under the supervision of mentors). We also have cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in prospect.

The Marketing Scientific Circle, as part of its activities, deals with:
- testing whether organic marketing works better than paid marketing in the travel industry. We analyze which methods more effectively support branding and promotion of the company,
- learning how digital marketing tools work,
- Developing marketing strategies using tools: Business Suite and Facebook Ads,
- Analyze the rules of online marketing activities based on current regulations, laws and RODO.

Purpose of the circle: formation of young scientists – logisticians. We grow both academically, through participation in conferences, publications and joint discussions, and business-wise, through study visits, projects and meetings with practitioners.
