Get to Know Us!
The Student Government of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is a group of dedicated students whose mission is to work together for the benefit of the entire academic community.
Our motto – Act, Support, Inspire – guides every initiative we undertake. We are here to represent students’ interests, create opportunities for growth, and foster an active, united university environment.
Every day, we organize a wide range of events, both educational and entertainment-focused, that help strengthen connections among students.
We also take part in the university’s decision-making processes, working closely with the Authorities and academic units to best address the needs of our community. We are the voice of students, advocating for their rights and interests while ensuring the quality of academic life at WUEB.
In the Student Government, we value cooperation, engagement, and personal development – because we believe that working together leads to exceptional results. We act for you and with you, creating a space where every student can feel part of something greater.

What does the WUEB Student Government do?
It organizes big parties and various events that make student life more interesting.
- Adapciak is an eight-day camp for first-year WUEB students, filled with attractions and themed parties. It’s a great opportunity to integrate, make new friends, and enjoy the last days before the academic year begins.
- Animalia is a charity project aimed at supporting the protection of endangered animal species. It consists of two events – an activity held at the Zoo and a student evening at a beach bar. We cooperate with the DODO Foundation operating at the Wrocław Zoo.
- The WUEB University Ball is an initiative of the Student Government designed to bring the academic community closer together. All students may participate after prior registration, and during the ball, the “Ekonomki” statuettes are awarded to the university’s most distinguished staff members.
- Orientation Days are a series of lectures and workshops that help first-year students navigate the realities of university life. Students learn about their rights, university rules, and development opportunities, followed by integration events such as “Zaprzegłubie” and the UE Party.
- GradUEtion is a Student Government event inspired by American graduation traditions. It combines the ceremonial awarding of diplomas with a celebration of achievements, during which graduates, dressed in gowns and caps, take part in the symbolic cap toss.
- Economic Bridges is a four-day student exchange involving five economic universities in Poland. Launched in 2005, the project combines lectures, workshops, and meetings, allowing participants to experience academic life at other universities.
- The Economic Knowledge Test is a project organized by the student governments of five economic universities within the Forum of Economic Universities. Its goal is to develop students’ economic competencies and promote learning. It consists of two stages – university-level eliminations and a grand finale for the best participants from each city.
- TEDxUEW – TED is an American media organization devoted to spreading ideas worth sharing. Its local format, TEDx, enables enthusiasts from around the world to share inspiring ideas through short talks designed to spark reflection and change the world for the better.
- UE Party is a series of events for WUEB students and peers from other Wrocław universities. It’s a chance to relax, have fun, and connect – always attracting crowds of participants.
- UElcome is a project promoting our university among high school graduates. We visit schools across Poland to show that studying at WUEB means not only education but also development and involvement in student organizations. These meetings help future students get to know the university better and feel more confident in choosing their field of study.
- Juwenalia is the annual student festival filled with concerts and additional attractions, bringing the entire academic community together.
