The reports published reflect the University’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in terms of social, environmental, and economic impact.
Activities are reported in line with recognized international initiatives and standards.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals adopted as part of the 2030 Agenda, setting directions for sustainable development worldwide.
The Sustainability Reports, published annually by the Sustainability Office of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, demonstrate how the University’s activities – in education, research, and external engagement – contribute to achieving these goals.

PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education)
PRME is a United Nations-supported initiative that advances responsible management education in business and management studies.
Within PRME, universities commit to integrating the principles of Responsibility, ethics, and sustainability into their teaching and to publishing regular reports (Sharing Information on Progress) documenting their achievements.

PIR (Positive Impact Rating)
The Positive Impact Rating is a global initiative that assesses business schools based on their real social and environmental impact.
The rating is based on student feedback and focuses on responsible leadership, organizational culture, and the school’s impact on society.

A distinguishing feature of our rating is that our University’s rating is 100% determined by student evaluations!
For the first time, our University participated in the rating in the 2022/2023 academic year.
Rating levels:
The PIR levels were determined on a scale of 1 to 10, which reflects the university’s increasing commitment in achieving the levels. The characteristics of each level relate to the stage of development of the business school.
Level 1. (0-4.2) Beginning
Universities that are starting or considering starting a business or are having difficulty getting one off the ground despite their stated commitment or stated vision.
Level 2 (4.3-5.8) Emerging
Universities embarking on a stated commitment to positive action in at least one area/field.
Level 3 (5.9-7.3) Progressing
Universities showing positive results in some areas of impact.
Level 4 (7.4-8.7) Transforming
Universities with a positive impact culture, rooted in management and systems, with visible progress in many areas of impact.
Level 5 (8.8-10) Pioneering
Universities with exceptional sustained progress in global leadership in all areas of impact.
THE Impact Rankings
(Times Higher Education Impact)
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is a global ranking that evaluates universities based on their contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It assesses performance across areas such as education, research, governance, and engagement with society, highlighting how higher education institutions contribute to addressing global challenges.
In 2025, the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business participated in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for the first time. The evaluation results are currently pending.
RRBM (Responsible Research for Business and Management)
Responsible Research in Business and Management is an international initiative dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and supporting credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines.
It emphasizes the importance of research with real societal impact, addressing contemporary challenges, and supporting sustainable development.
