Report from the 3rd Sustainable Development Forum
On June 17, 2025, the 3rd edition of the Sustainable Development Forum (SDF) took place. The aim of the meeting was to present the draft Sustainable Development Plan – a strategic document being developed by the Office for Sustainable Development.
Participants were invited to work together to develop actions aligned with selected goals of the Sustainable Development Plan.
The Forum was conducted in the form of interactive workshops, moderated by Dr. Karolina Daszyńska-Żygadło, Dr. Dawid Kościewicz, Dr. Ewa Popowicz, and Professor Magdalena Rojek-Nowosielska, Ph.D., UEW.
Goals of the Sustainable Development Plan:
- Goal 1: Supporting the development of knowledge and scientific progress through research that addresses social, environmental, and corporate governance challenges and adheres to scientific ethics
- Goal 2: Promoting the development of knowledge and scientific progress through education that contributes to social impact
- Goal 3: Engaging the university community and its environment in creating positive social impact through dialogue and open communication
- Goal 4: Shaping responsible and sustainable attitudes aimed at integrating the University Community
