Dr Przemysław Wołczek, Associate Professor at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, and expert in development strategies, was a guest on “Para dla Dolnego Śląska” on Radio Wrocław. Commenting on the assumptions behind the new Wrocław 2050 Strategy, he identified the critical factors that determine the long-term success of regional planning.
Prof. Wołczek highlighted the importance of scenario-based flexibility, implementation capacity, and institutional continuity as key elements of a strategy that goes beyond declarations. What makes strategies fail, even when their assumptions are solid? How can vision be translated into operational policy?
This is a conversation for all those who plan, evaluate or implement long-term development strategies. Listen to the full interview and explore the expert commentary at badania.uew.pl/en.
