Prof. dr hab. Czesław Zając

Prof. dr hab. Czeslaw Zając is a research and teaching employee of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, head of the Department of Economics and Business Organization. In 2024 prof. dr hab. Czeslaw Zając has been elected Rector of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business for the term 2024-2028.

From 2016 to 2018, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and from October 1, 2018 to the present, he has served as Dean of the WUEB Doctoral School. He has promoted 10 PhDs. In addition to his academic experience, he also has extensive managerial experience in leading staff teams at large financial institutions for 7 years.

As of 2019, Member of the Scientific Council of Management and Quality Studies at his alma mater. Member of the Committee on Organization and Management of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 2020.

Scientific interests and publishing and teaching activity of prof. Zając include: human capital management, organizational culture, organizational behavior, business management, social, organizational and cultural problems of business acquisitions and mergers, human resource management in capital groups. Prof. Zając is the author of more than 160 publications, including several monographs.
