The three evaluated WUEB disciplines – economics and finance, management and quality sciences, and food technology and nutrition – have retained category B+ in the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity for 2022-2025.
Behind the shared result lie different profiles of scientific activity. Management and quality sciences stood out for the documented impact of their research on the economy and the public sector. Food technology and nutrition achieved a high scientific level and confirmed the industrial applications of its research findings. The result of economics and finance was based on academic output and the use of WUEB knowledge in public policy. In their assessments, the experts pointed to, among other things, solutions used by companies and cities, tools for the healthcare system, research supporting the development of social services, and implementations in food technology.
