Dr Joanna Martusewicz

Dr Joanna Martusewicz is a specialist in designing and improving management systems in organizations, a licensed business trainer and EFQM assessor. She is affiliated with the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, where she works in the Department of Organization Transformation and Improvement and serves as Director of the EFQM Business Excellence Center. She is also President of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business Development Foundation.

Her main area of research interest centers around business excellence models and leadership, management systems design and transformation. Author of dozens of articles, textbooks and scientific monographs. Member and manager of several research grants.

In her academic career, Dr Joanna Martusewicz has been the organizer of the annual National Scientific Conference “Change as a Condition for Success” since 1997. She was also the secretary of the journal “Management Forum”. She has extensive experience in implementation projects, such as. in restructuring programs and organizational audits in various institutions.

Her research activities resulted in cooperation with the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), where she participated in the development and implementation of the new version of the EFQM model in various entities, such as MPWiK and Toyota Boshoku Poland. She is a member of the Chapter of the Polish Quality Award and co-author of the new criteria for evaluating companies.

Privately, Dr Joanna Martusewicz is a lover of beauty and elegance and loves traveling combined with scuba diving.
