Dr hab. Piotr Bednarek, prof. WUEB

Piotr Bednarek – employed at WUEB as a professor at the university, and since September 2024 has served as Vice-Rector for Finance and External Relations. He specializes in the applications of performance measurement methods in assessing internal audit quality and the impact of culture on management control practices.

Author of two monographs and dozens of scientific articles in the field of auditing and controlling, he has been awarded several times by the Rector of WUEB for his achievements in scientific and research work.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the European Accounting Association and the Management Control Association. He combines his research with consulting activities for institutions and organizations.

Privately, a lover of sailing.
