Bridging V4 Universities and Business through Design Thinking’ has received EUR 29,250 from the International Visegrad Fund. A team from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business will examine where the gap arises between the skills developed during higher education and those organisations expect across the V4 countries.
The comparative evidence will come from four Design Thinking workshops. Students will address real challenges submitted by companies and institutions, while the researchers will draw on student self-assessments, facilitator observations and feedback from the organisations. The findings will inform an open toolkit for universities and employers.
The WUEB team comprises mgr Paulina Graczyk, mgr Kamila Łuczak and mgr Maciej Krahel. All three are research and teaching assistants at WUEB and are either undertaking or have completed doctoral training at the WUEB Doctoral School. The project partners are Comenius University Bratislava, Palacký University Olomouc and Edutus University.
