1st Bilateral Doctoral Seminar. Brazil and Poland in a Changing Geopolitical and Geoeconomic Environment
The Doctoral School of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, in cooperation with Universidade Comunitária da Região de Chapecó – Unochapecó, is pleased to announce the first Bilateral Doctoral Seminar connecting researchers from Brazil and Poland.
The seminar will take place on June 17th, 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00 CEST (Poland) / 11:00 to 13:00 Brasília Time (Brazil), in a hybrid format: Building Z, Room 213Z, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business + online via Teams.
The event will be held in English.
The aim of the seminar is to create an international forum for discussion between doctoral students and established academics from Brazil and Poland. The meeting will focus on geoeconomics, security, economic cooperation, strategic relations, and the changing geopolitical environment from the perspective of Central and Eastern Europe and South America.
Objectives:
- presentation of doctoral students’ research;
- creating an international forum for discussion between doctoral students and established academics;
- strengthening academic cooperation between Poland and Brazil;
- exchange of interdisciplinary research perspectives.
Special format:
- Each doctoral pair will present collaborative or comparative research, followed by expert discussion and open debate, creating a highly interactive academic environment.
