The received accreditations and certificates are granted for a specific period of time and require consistent pro-quality activities.

Accreditations granted
HR Excellence in Research
Distinction HR Excellence in Research is awarded by the European Commission to institutions that implement the Strategy for Enhancing the Attractiveness of Working Conditions and Career Development of Researchers (The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers HRS4R), following the principles and guidelines of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers (Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers).
Through the implementation of the HRS4R Strategy, scientific entities commit to providing favorable working, development, career, mobility and transparent recruitment processes for researchers, thereby contributing to the competitiveness of the European Research Area (ERA) and the attractiveness of EU science systems on a global scale.
From the point of view of the development of the WUEB, it is important that the institutions that have received the award are promoted by the European Commission in the international environment as those that provide the best working and development conditions. Wroclaw University of Economics is on the list of award-winning research institutions maintained by the European Commission.
CEEMAN IQA
CEEMAN is an international association for management development in Central and Eastern Europe that emphasizes high standards of quality, the importance of institutional action in response to the development needs of university stakeholders, and the need to implement innovation through CEEMAN IQA (Central and East European Management Development Association Initial Quality Accreditation) institutional accreditation.
This accreditation evaluates seven areas of the university’s operations: strategy and goals, governance and structure, knowledge creation (research), knowledge transfer (education), resources, continuous improvement and innovation, and commitment to responsible practices.
The Wroclaw University of Economics was granted CEEMAN IQA accreditation for six years in 2017. Preparations for the re-accreditation process are currently underway.
EUA IEP
The EUA (European University Association) is an organization of European universities engaged in research and teaching, as well as national rector associations and other organizations related to science and higher education. It offers the Institutional Evaluation Program (IEP) as an independent service to its members, supporting them in developing strategic management and an internal quality culture.

AMBA

AMBA (The Association of MBAs) is a global association that is the authority on postgraduate management education. This is the oldest and most prestigious international accreditation awarded by the MBA Association. AMBA accreditation is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and master’s programs. The association currently accredits the programs of just 2% of business schools in more than 70 countries.
AMBA accreditation is awarded to the best international programs and signifies the highest and rigorous standard of achievement in postgraduate education. Each accredited program enjoys high prestige, and only candidates with managerial experience who meet certain requirements are admitted. Its completion is tantamount to joining the ranks of elite graduates recognized by companies recruiting middle and senior managers.
Preparations for AMBA accreditation WUEB had already begun in late 2017. After meeting the basic requirements in April 2018. The Executive MBA program has achieved candidate status for accreditation. In 2022. The Executive MBA program at WUEB has received an extension of AMBA accreditation for another five years.
EFMD

EFMD is a recognized international organization that brings together 977 entities from 90 countries working in the fields of higher education, business, public administration and consulting. This internationally recognized institution accredits business schools, business school programs and corporate universities.
EFMD Programme Accreditation covers all aspects of programme implementation: from the institutional, national and international environment, through its design, implementation, results-
ki and impact, to quality assurance processes. EFMD accreditation emphasizes the importance of academic rigor, practicality, the internationalization process, and ethics and sustainability.
EFMD accreditation is granted to the faculties implemented at WUEB: Finance (undergraduate and graduate studies) and International Business (undergraduate studies). It is worth mentioning that the Finance major is the only finance major in Poland with triple accreditation: EFMD, ACCA and CFA.
CFA Institute

The CFA Institute is a global and reputable organization of financial professionals that awards the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. The organization’s main goal is to set the course for financial professionals around the world by setting the highest standards in ethics, education and professional qualifications.
The Bachelor and Master in Finance programs, thanks to a partnership with the CFA Institute, meet programmatic certification standards. This gives students the opportunity to complete their studies and pass the Chartered Financial Analyst exam at the same time. In addition, students in the program can receive a stipend to cover the cost of the exam.
The ability to earn a prestigious certificate during their studies puts graduates of the University of Economics in an advantageous position when they enter the financial industry and accelerates their careers. We are the only CFA Institute partner in Central Europe.
CFA Society Poland
CIMA

CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is the leading, and largest, organization in its industry, which brings together the More than 696,000. management accounting professionals. Having CIMA accreditation allows students in an accredited course to earn the prestigious certificate and ensures that they can use the CIMA Cert BA/Dip Ma title.
CIMA cooperates in accreditation with the best economic universities in Poland. Cooperation has been established with eight universities – Wroclaw University of Economics has joined the

CIMA accreditation has been awarded to the following courses at WUEB: Accounting and Taxation (undergraduate, graduate), Business Accounting (Cert BA, postgraduate) and Management Accounting (Dip MA, postgraduate).
ACCA
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the largest and fastest-growing international organization of finance and accounting professionals. In Poland, ACCA-accredited degree programs are held by 18 universities – a total of 49 faculties nationwide.
ACCA offers an internationally recognized certification designed for those seeking to advance their careers in accounting, finance and management.
Wroclaw University of Economics is accredited by ACCA in seven fields of study: Finance and Accounting (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies), Finance (undergraduate and graduate studies), and Accounting and Controlling (undergraduate and graduate studies). Recently, the Finance and Accounting major received ACCA reaccreditation for both degrees.
EMOS

Under the auspices of Eurostat, the European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) initiative has been developing for several years. Among the goals of EMOS is to develop a highly qualified workforce prepared to work at the European level. EMOS also aims to reduce the competence gap in the ability to use statistical information in the bodies that make important social, economic and political decisions, as well as to deepen and expand international cooperation, strengthen the interaction between official statistics and universities, and level the knowledge and opportunities among the countries of the European Union.
The realization of the project’s goals is based on supplementing existing master’s degree programs (mainly in economics) with an additional curriculum track devoted to issues related to statistics in the broadest sense. The project is conducted in close cooperation between academic centers and statistical offices, both domestic and foreign. Direct results of this cooperation include student internships, summer schools, workshops and seminars.
The Wroclaw University of Economics has received EMOS certification for 2019-2023 for the Public Statistics specialty program offered at the second degree of the Economic Analytics major.
PKA

The Polish Accreditation Commission is the first independent institution working within the Polish higher education system to improve the quality of education in all public and non-public universities that make up the system. PKA is authorized to assess the fulfillment of the conditions for providing education and assessing its quality in first-, second- and third-degree studies and postgraduate studies, as well as to assess the activities of basic organizational units of higher education institutions.
Accreditation processes
AACSB

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is an international organization of educational institutions, business representatives and other organizations involved in the development of business education. AACSB’s mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation and strengthen the impact of business education in the community.
AACSB provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels. AACSB accreditation is known worldwide as the most recognized form of specialized and professional accreditation that an institution and its business programs can earn.
Wroclaw University of Economics has been a member of AACSB since 2017. The process of obtaining institutional accreditation is currently underway. AACSB International Accreditation Commission in 2022. has made a positive assessment of the qualification application submitted by WUEB and the Initial Self Evaluation Report (ISER), which enables our University to proceed to the next stages of the process of obtaining this accreditation.
