The Polish Team Table Tennis Championships proved to be incredibly exciting. After a fierce competition, the AZS WUEB University Club team lost to ENEA Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg in the final match, bringing home silver medals and the runner-up trophy from the host city. Upon their return from Tarnobrzeg, the team members were received by the Rector of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, prof. Czesław Zając, Ph.D

Meanwhile, at the 94th Polish Individual Table Tennis Championships held earlier in Szczecin, sisters Anna and Katarzyna Węgrzyn, playing as a pair, won the bronze medal in doubles. In singles, Katarzyna Węgrzyn also took the lowest step on the podium (tied with Natalia Bajor), losing in the semifinals to Zuzanna Wielgos, who went on to win the tournament.

Congratulations to our players, and we wish them every success in their future competitions! We would also like to thank the entire coaching staff, led by coach Zdzisław Tolksdorf.
