
On March 4, 2024, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (UEW) held the inauguration of the Sustainable Development Forum – an initiative that brings together representatives of the University’s external stakeholders.
The Forum’s role will be to provide support and advisory input in defining and implementing UEW’s strategic directions in the area of sustainable development. The invitation to join the Forum was accepted by:

Following the official inauguration of the UEW Sustainable Development Forum, a strategic workshop was held with the participation of Forum members as well as UEW staff and students. The organizers’ intention was to co-create the sustainable development goals for our University.
Working in four thematic groups focused on the areas of: environment (facilitator: Dr. Monika Hajdas, Associate Professor at WUEB), corporate governance (facilitator: Dr. Dominika Hadro, Associate Professor at WUEB), social impact (facilitator: Dr. Karolina Daszyńska-Żygadło), and employees (facilitator: Dr. Magdalena Rojek-Nowosielska, Associate Professor at WUEB), participants not only identified current activities but also explored potential directions for future initiatives in these areas.
Through this initiative, the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business aims to demonstrate its commitment to shaping a future based on sustainable and responsible practices. Above all, the University seeks to listen closely to the voices of its stakeholders, whose input will be reflected in the UEW Sustainable Development Plan currently under development.
