On Wednesday, June 10, we had the exciting opportunity to welcome Dr. Raul Rodriguez, Vice-President of Woxsen University, to the Wrocław University of Economics and Business (WUEB). As proud AACSB members, we’ve been joyfully collaborating on innovative teaching and research projects for the past year, and there’s so much more to come.
The visit began with a meeting with Prof. Marek Kośny, the Vice-Rector for Research. The discussion focused on identifying key areas for collaboration in the coming months. This included the joint organization of the 15th International Asia-Pacific Conference, a collaborative teaching initiative called the International Week on Digital Transformation in Business, cooperation at the doctoral school level, and the arrangement of a networking session to enhance understanding of the research interests of academics from both universities.
After a brief campus tour, Dr. Raul Rodriguez delivered a lecture titled ”Psychology and Neuroplasticity in the Age of AI“ for students and faculty members. During his presentation, he discussed ongoing research projects at Woxsen, including an AI-driven necrobotic system and an AI-driven architecture designed to assess collective performance in team sports.
We are truly grateful for this inspiring visit and look forward to turning our shared ideas into meaningful academic initiatives that will bring lasting value to both university communities.
