Short BIO
Professor Natalia Szozda is Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Management and Head of the Department of Logistics at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (Poland). She also serves as Industry Marketing Lead for a global software engineering and digital products company, where she oversees international business operations across multiple markets. Her unique professional profile combines academic leadership with hands-on business consultancy in areas such as digital transformation, industrial operations, and supply chain innovation.
Professor Szozda has participated as a speaker, session chair, and organizing committee member at over fifty academic conferences, symposia, and scientific meetings across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia. She has played a leading role in four research projects funded by the National Science Centre in Poland, addressing topics such as demand management, resilient supply chains, network governance, and the implications of blockchain technology for supply chain ecosystems.
Her research interests focus primarily on supply chain management, digital transformation, and demand and product management. She has published in leading international journals, including Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Electronic Markets, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management. Her academic and professional work is guided by the belief that responsible innovation and value-driven management are essential to building resilient and sustainable organizations in today’s dynamic global economy.
