This initiative reflects Woxsen\u2019s commitment to global academic exchange, interdisciplinary engagement, and innovative pedagogy within a fully residential university ecosystem.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program offers <strong>short-term academic residencies (15\u201390 days)<\/strong> under Teaching or Research Tracks, providing an immersive experience within Woxsen\u2019s vibrant academic ecosystem. Selected Visiting Faculty members will be provided with on-campus accommodation and meals for the duration of their stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Disciplines Invited<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are welcomed from the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Business &amp; Management:<\/strong> All disciplines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Design:<\/strong> Product, Communication, Interaction, and allied fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Architecture &amp; Planning:<\/strong> Architecture, Urban Design, Sustainable Planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Liberal Arts, Humanities &amp; Social Sciences:<\/strong> All areas including Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, History, Literature, Political Science, Cultural Studies, Anthropology, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Law:<\/strong> Public Law, Corporate Law, International Law, Human Rights, Legal Theory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Natural Sciences:<\/strong> Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Data Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tracks of Engagement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must <strong>self-select one primary track<\/strong> at the time of application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Teaching Track<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting Faculty on the Teaching Track are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver courses, modules, studios, or intensive seminars aligned with their expertise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to curriculum enrichment and pedagogical innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in student mentoring, workshops, or interdisciplinary teaching activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Research Track<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting Faculty on the Research Track are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undertake independent or collaborative research with Woxsen faculty or research centres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to scholarly outputs such as joint publications, working papers, or research proposals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in research seminars, colloquia, and academic discussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must clearly indicate their <strong>chosen track (Teaching or Research)<\/strong> and provide a brief <strong>proposed plan of engagement<\/strong> aligned with the selected track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration of Appointment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum duration:<\/strong> 15 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum duration:<\/strong> 90 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact period of residence will be mutually agreed upon based on academic requirements and availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Appointment Terms &amp; Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected Visiting Faculty will be provided with <strong>complimentary on-campus accommodation and meals<\/strong> for the full duration of their engagement, enabling full immersion in Woxsen University\u2019s residential academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the <strong>Visiting Faculty Program is non-remunerative<\/strong> and does not include an honorarium or salary.
