{"id":249036,"date":"2025-10-02T07:01:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T05:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uew.pl\/?p=249036"},"modified":"2025-10-08T11:02:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T09:02:57","slug":"top-2-najczesciej-cytowanych-naukowcow-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uew.pl\/en\/top-2-najczesciej-cytowanych-naukowcow-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"UEW Researchers Again Ranked Among the World\u2019s Top 2% Most\u2011Cited Scientists\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Scholars from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (UEW) have once again been included in the <em>World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists 2025<\/em> list, compiled by Stanford University, Elsevier and SciTech Strategies.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the career\u2011long citation\u2011impact category, <strong>Professor Stanis\u0142aw Heilpern<\/strong> (prof. dr hab.) has been recognised again \u2014 a noted expert in statistics, insurance and decision theory, and a long\u2011standing member of UEW\u2019s Department of Statistics [do weryfikacji].&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the single\u2011year list for <strong>2024<\/strong>, four UEW researchers were distinguished:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Professor Katarzyna Piwowar-Sulej<\/strong> \u2014 specialist in sustainability-oriented human resource management and leadership (Department of Labour, Capital and Innovation, WUEB).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Associate Professor Agnieszka Orkusz <\/strong>\u2014 researcher in food technology and nutrition (Department of Biotechnology and Food Analysis, UEW).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Associate Professor Arkadiusz Piwowar,\u00a0 <\/strong>\u2014 recognised expert in agribusiness and sustainable economics (Department of Economics and Organisation of Food Economy, WUEB).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adam Sulich, PhD.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2014 specialist in sustainable development and the green economy (Department of Advanced Research in Management, WUEB).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Across their disciplines, UEW researchers rank among Poland\u2019s leading authors; over the past year their publications were among the country\u2019s most\u2011cited. This is another signal of the University\u2019s steadily growing international visibility and research influence.
